It's a beautiful Sunday morning in northern Minnesota. In fact, the birds were singing so loudly at 5 a.m. that they woke me up.In fact, had I not known better I would have sworn they were in the room with me. Luckily, I was able to fall back asleep.
Isn't this a pretty card? Yes, the S-word (as in simple) describes it, too, but I like it nonetheless. The only thing that is notable with regard to its construction is the fact that I stamped the flower with Hollyhock ink on Blush cardstock. Oh, and the piece with the stamped image is mounted to the card with foam mounting tape.
Materials & Tools: Colonial White, Buttercup, Olive, and Blush cardstock; Boom-Di-Ada Creative Basics Collection; Olive, Hollyhock, and Buttercup ink pads; Happiness and Happy Birthday stamp sets; Round sponge; 1/2-inch circle punch; Fray Check; Mini Glue Dots; and 3M foam mounting tape.
Other than the fact that I'm up and stamping, there isn't much to report, which might just be a good thing! Later!
