Last month, a couple of my stamp club members expressed interest in a couple of cards I made using glossy paper and the crayon resist technique. We're making this card tonight along with the one posted below.

Materials & Tools: White Daisy and Black cardstock; Glossy White cardstock; Black Archival ink pad; Dutch Blue and Citrus Leaf ink pads; Friendship Blessings and Happy Birthday stamp sets; Black gingham ribbon; White crayon; Round sponge; 1 and 1-1/4 inch circle punches.

I have a few preparations left for my meeting tonight, and hopefully, I'll have enough time to clean up the mess I made getting ready . . . It's funny how fast I can undo all the organizing I accomplished yesterday. I keep thinking it's because my space is small, and then I remember my sewing days and how I could leave a trail of thread and pins throughout a five-bedroom house. The boys still talk about the necessity of having to keep their shoes on during craft show season to avoid the pins in the carpet. Such a legacy I'm leaving . . .

In case I don't make it back today, I'll leave you with the wish for a good week. Take care.
