About my card.
It's nothing fancy. I cut a "window" in my cardstock with an oval Nestabilities die and placed my stamped and colored image behind it before mounting it on black cardstock. The image was stamped on watercolor paper and colored with a blending pen and ink from several ink pads. A length of taffeta ribbon, a tiny tag with a stamped sentiment, and five little pearl accents finished if off. Like I said, I was glad to find my stamp set. I don't like losing things.Materials & Tools: White Daisy, Lilac Mist, and Black cardstock; Watercolor paper; Black, Lilac Mist, Garden Green, Blush, Honey, Brown Bag, Grey Wool, and Twilight stamp pads; Dove blending pen; Impression Obsession Bloom and Papertrey Ink Mixed Messages stamp sets; Stampin' Up Whisper White taffeta ribbon; Hero Arts 5mm Pearl Accents; Cuttlebug w/Swiss Dots embossing folder and Nestabilities Classic Ovals set; 3M foam mounting tape.
With regard to my life, there isn't much to report. I'm just coasting along this week, which is kind of nice. I noticed at the beginning of this post that my computer screen could stand to be wiped off. Initially, I thought there was something wrong with the photo of my card before I realized that it was Mathias' fingerprints I was seeing. I put him in my lap on Sunday and introduced him to the Internet via Sesame Street's website. We played games for an hour or better and probably still would have been at it had he had his way. While he wasn't ready to man the mouse, he was perfectly capable of showing Grandma which item to click on when sorting Oscar the Grouch's trash. It was cute and fun - worth a few fingerprints. I hope your week so far has been smooth sailing, too. Take care, and thanks for stopping by!

I love those little pearls ... and I enjoyed reading about the treasure of fingerprints on a computer screen.
Lovely card! I'm so glad you found the stamp set so you could make and share it. Ü
Loved the fingerprint story. My screen is awfully dusty, too, but I don't have a sweet story to go with it. LOL
Hope you have a wonderful day.
