Here's Round 2, as Tiffany called it. It's my attempt to get the same look as my previously posted card without a brayer or glossy cardstock. Now that I think about it, it might have been easier to judge had I used the same color palette. I apologize for my short attention span! Regarding colors, I was going to use my signature Sunflower/Autumn Terracotta combination but then decided I wanted to keep it more pastelish (not a word) like my first card. I used Buttercup and Orange and then replaced the Black with Chocolate. I think I pulled it off reasonably well. One thing for certain, my second card was a lot more environmentally friendly in that there was no waste resulting from second, third, fourth . . . attempts. LOL.
Materials & Tools: White Daisy, Buttercup, and Chocolate cardstock; Chocolate, Buttercup, and Orange ink pads; Stampin' Up Inspired by Nature and Hero Arts Anytime Messages stamp sets; Pewter Bitty Brads; Round sponges; Martha Stewart Butterfly punch.
I slept away the afternoon, laying down again after I ate. What's with that? If I were I kid, I'd say I was growing. If I keep filling my stomach and then going to bed, I probably will grow, too, but it won't be up. That wouldn't be good. With the weekend almost over, I need to get a few things done, which may mean you've heard the last of me for today. Just in case, I'll wish you a wonderful week. Take care.
