Another "It Doesn't Have to Be Difficult" card. My reasoning is twofold tonight. One, I'm feeling a little lazy, and two, I reiterate that there are some papers that are just too pretty to cover up. This one is for Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge #62. The sketch was fun, and I don't think there's a single thing about my card that doesn't explain itself.
Materials & Tools: Colonial White, Buttercup, Juniper, and Chocolate cardstock; K&Company patterned paper; Chocolate ink pad; Angel Whispers stamp set; Ribbon from Walmart; Sparkles; Fiskars Sunburst border punch; Sanding block.
The reason I'm smiling is because it's Friday. The reason I'm lazy is because I got about three hours of sleep last night. My inability to sleep is in direct correlation to the fact that my husband is in a truck. I sleep fine if he's off hunting or the like, but for whatever reason, if he's driving that truck, I can't sleep. I'm not worried about him or anything, so it's just weird, and I'm kind of bummed, because I have stuff that I should get done tonight. Maybe I'll catch a second wind. We'll see. I'm probably be a little more hit and miss on the blog this weekend. As I mentioned yesterday, I'm going to Fargo with Miranda tomorrow. Sunday is going to be a busy day, too. I'll do what I can. My wish for you is a wonderful weekend that affords you the opportunity to smile and enjoy whatever it is you do. Take care, and as always, thanks for stopping by!
