. . . My hit counter hit and surpassed the 100,000 mark! Because it took more than one person to make that happen, I'd like to share something with everybody and send each and every one of you a card. Leave a comment and then email me with your address. While I can't guarantee that I'll be able to deliver same day or even next day service, I'll get them out as quickly as I can. Oh, and if you're too darned bashful to leave me a comment, just email me with your address. While this isn't exciting blog candy or anything, it's the best way I can think of to say thank you for your support and give everyone who wants it a little piece of me.
I never made it back to my corner today. Shortly after I returned home from shopping, Cameron and the boys came over so Mathias and Bjorn could spend time with Grandpa before he went to work. After Marv left, I made dinner for the four us, and then took Bjorn to the laundromat with him to do their laundry while Mathias spent a little one-on-one time with Grandma. Knowing that neither of these little boys get much one-on-one time with their parents or grandparents, I'd come up with this plan earlier in the day. Bjorn, too, is at that "I want to come with you" age. It worked out beautifully. Cameron and Bjorn had a great time washing clothes and buying groceries, while had both of the boys been with him, it most likely would not have been fun. Mathias and I had a good time, too. We did Grandma and Grandpa's laundry and played computer games, something he rarely gets to do, because his older brother (by 16 months) is a bit demanding when it comes to computer time and Mathias, like a lot of little brothers do, gives in to him quite easily. I could tell he felt pretty special having Grandma all to himself. I don't think Daddy leaving Bjorn behind next time will be an issue either. "You got to play computer games?" he exclaimed like he was the one who missed out. Funny, too, is the fact that computer games are something they only want to do at Grandma's house. I tried to send a CD ROM with games home with them yesterday, and Bjorn wouldn't hear of it. It must be because my lap is softer than Daddy's bony legs. LOL. Speaking of Daddy, my first-born child will be 30 years old on Friday, a fact that doesn't seem quite possible. He's a little mopey about it, too, and I understand because 30 wasn't my favorite birthday either. It's the one that speaks, "Oh, I'm grown up now."
OK. That's enough. I could talk all night about the little group of people who comprise my family. I think you know why. They are pretty much the alpha and omega of my existence. When they make me crazy, I stamp (which you've probably noticed is quite frequently)! LOL. It's all good.
Back to the hit counter, as I've said before, this isn't a big ego thing, and I don't pay a lot of attention to statistics or do anything more than post frequently to "drive traffic" to my blog. From what I have observed by looking at the stats is that I have a relatively small and very faithful following of folks who stop by regularly. For that, I'm grateful. I hope your week is a wonderful one. I'll catch you again with a card tomorrow night.

Wow! How cool that you would send each of us a card. I really like the Christmas cards that you have made.
Congrats, Kathi! I'm proud to say I stop by religously to see what you're up to. I love your simple-yet-fun style. You make me chuckle every now and then too...(you know when something is so cute, you can't help but giggle?) Thanks for the dedication to this blog. *smiles*
Kathi, I stop by every day or night to see you. I feel its like stopping by to visit a good friend. You talk about your family and work just enough to be interesting but not boring. Your cards are inspiration and if I am ever stumped (which is frequent at times) I can always get ideas from you. Thank you for being a friend, isn't that a song title!

Hi Kathi: I too check in with you daily. I'm amazed at your committment to post every day. I sometimes don't think I'd have anything to say on a daily basis. your little grandsons are adorable and I'm jealous - none for me yet. Congats on a great blog - 100,000 hits make it a hit! Janice
That's a very impressive milestone Kathi! I probably account for at least 1,000 of those hits! LOL Truly, my day is not complete without a little visit to Kathi's Corner - and I am never disappointed with either your artwork or little snippet of your warm and cozy life. Thank you for your constancy, your talent and your humor. *inky hugs* Ava
