Every time I use words from a song as a title, I chuckle to myself. You are so lucky you can't hear me sing. My card was inspired by Julie's Mojo Monday sketch on her Poetic Artistry blog. While it didn't quite come together as planned, it turned out OK. I stamped the snowman body components with Grey Wool ink, mostly because I didn't want black, swirling snow at his base. I paper-pieced his hat and scarf on patterned paper with New England Ivy ink and then colored in the stripes with a Garden Green marker. I used Stickles on the snowflakes, which, of course, looks better in person than it does in the photograph.
Materials & Tools: White Daisy and New England Ivy cardstock; Evensong paper packet; New England Ivy, Grey Wool, Black, and Chocolate ink pads; Garden Green and Orange Markers; All Decked Out November Stamp of the Month and Festive Thoughts stamp sets; Martha Stewart Snowflake punch; Stardust Stickles; 3M foam mounting tape.
Bowling was fun tonight. Work was OK today. Having once been so passionate about politics, I marveled at my ability throughout the day to listen to all of the different reactions to the election so objectively. I can only deduce that regardless of individual perspectives, we all want the same thing. As it's late, I'll sign off. I hope yours was a good day and that tomorrow will be as well. Thanks for stopping!
