Simple Saturday

Good morning! I made this card before going to bed last night. I think I was asleep before 9 p.m.

My card was inspired by this card that I saw earlier in the week on the Fresh & Fun blog. All I remembered about her card is that it was very pretty and that she had used tree stamps, stamped in green and white, and Kraft cardstock. For my card, I embossed a rectangle using Nestabilities, masked off the shape, and stamped my tree three times using Close To My Heart's new Colonial White pigment ink pad. The rest pretty much explains itself. A very clean, peaceful look. Simple and quick.

Materials & Tools: Colonial White and New England Ivy cardstock; Stampin' Up Kraft cardstock; Colonial White pigment and New England Ivy stamp pads; Beautiful Things and Say it in Style stamp sets; Cuttlebug w/ Nestabilities large rectangles.

I've completed one of the other weekend sketch challenges, which I will show you later, along with a couple more that I'll work on at some point during the day. For now, I'm going to conduct myself responsibly and go clean my house. To stay on track, I'm actually going to turn my computer off. Maybe I should pile up furniture in front of my corner, too! LOL. Like there isn't enough stuff sitting on the floor around my chair that makes getting into it a challenge. Have a wonderful day. If I'm "good" and get my stuff done, I'll be back this evening with some goodies to show you. Later . . .
