Where's Kathi?

Greetings! I'm just popping in to let you know I'm still here. Between work, the ups and downs of ordinary life, and holiday parties and preparations, this week has been more than a little hectic. If I thought I was alone, I'd be feeling sorry for myself. Instead, I know I'm in the same boat as a lot of you are.

Still, I keeping thinking that it shouldn't be this way. The first Christmas wasn't chaotic. No one was frantic. It was just a new mom and dad and tiny baby born in a barn and laid in a manger - a baby who, despite his humble beginnings, would grow up to change the world.

Today, we're off to celebrate Christmas with Marv's family at the new hunting cabin about 40 miles from here. Set deep in the woods, the setting is quiet and peaceful, although I can imagine with all the merriment, the gathering will be anything but quiet. It will be fun though. Unless I'm too pooped, I'll try to sneak to my corner when we get home and come up with something to show you. Have a good day! Later . . .

I knew you were out there somewhere - maybe under a gigantic pile of little boy toys trying to wrap! I agree about the first Christmas.
Enjoy your day Kathi - you deserve some 'quiet merriment'....lol

Merry Christmas Kathi!

I, too, agree about the hectic pace. My saying to my husband this week has been, "While it is the time for peace and joy, they'll still run you over in the parking lot to get that spot!"
LOL!

Maybe I should turn that into a card...hmmm

Oh whew! I have been busy on my end on not checking blogs. I am relieved that I haven't missed too much from you.

I have to tell you...I had a dream last night that you and I met in person finally! At the airport! I was heading out and you were heading in and we met in the middle. It was very cool. wonder what it means?

Enjoy your day, my friend!
