Much Happiness

What a weekend! You're not going to get a detailed account, however, because I don't have the energy. Besides, I don't think you necessarily stopped by for the latest addition of the Carlson Chronicles! LOL. Tonight's post will be all about the artwork.

My card was made with new stamps and papers from Close To My Heart's spring catalog. The sketch was from Originals.

Materials & Tools: Colonial White and Cocoa cardstock; Unforgettable Level 2 paper packet; Cocoa, Sorbet, and Bamboo ink pads; Aspirations and Kanji Phrases stamp sets; Pretty Pins; Stampin' Up Chocolate Chip taffeta ribbon; Sponge dauber.

In addition to being tired, I've got a splitting headache, which is why I'm going to keep this very short. The week ahead is going to be busy. I have a lot going on at work, and I really want to try to get caught up on some things at home. Priorities may prevent me from posting as often as I'd like. I'll give it my best shot, however. I hope yours was a wonderful weekend and that the coming week is great, too. Thanks for stopping by! Later . . .

Kathi this is absolutely STUNNING! I love it! I'm not one much for the asian flair but this is so pretty you have me almost contemplating a purchase! LOL Have a great week too!

Oh darn! I was hoping for a recap of the Carlson Chronicles! LOL I'm sorry your head was pounding and I hope by now it's better.

My eye isn't usually drawn to the Asian look, but you're working on changing that aren't you? This is a lovely card! Very calming and serene.

Btw, I sent you a package last week (should have mailed out on Monday-I dropped off on Sunday), and I'm a little worried it hasn't arrived yet. I wanted it to be a surprise, but could you let me know if you haven't received it...thanks! I know you've been super busy, but felt I should ask.

Have an awesome week!

Kathi,

I love your art work, but actually, I also love the Carlson Chronicles!!!

This is a beautiful card! I love the combination of Aspiration and the Hanji characters. And the delicate pink blossoms are just perfect.

Thanks for the inspiration!
