Fancy Cuts

If you want to play with paper but don't want to stamp (much), then Close To My Heart's Fancy Cuts Botanicals are for you. This set of floral die cuts consists of three 12x12-inch sheets of cardstock, all in colors from the Spring Blossom palette.

To give the flowers a little more dimension, I inked the edges of all the pieces with same-color ink. I used Cocoa to edge the swirl, so it would show up against the Juniper background. With more than 20 flowers of various sizes on each of the three sheets in this set, a lot of fun (and a bunch of cards) can be had for $3.95.

Materials & Tools: White Daisy and Cocoa cardstock; Perfect Day paper packet; Fancy Cuts Botanicals die cuts; Cocoa ink pad; Say it in Style stamp set; Spring Blossom Mini Medley Accents Collection; Circle Window Charms; Sponge daubers.

This is it for me tonight. I've got a couple more cards that I'll post in the morning. My stamping time will be limited tomorrow due to the fact that I made more cards today than items I scratched off my 'to do' list! Shame on me. LOL. I'm going to take it easy for the rest of the evening. Somehow, I've managed to snag a headache, and my throat is a little bit sore. I'm hoping a couple of aspirin and a good night's sleep take care of it. Thanks for stopping by!

Great job Kathi! Aren't the Botanicals fun, I used one sheet on one of my Japan layouts, very quick and easy! Love how you inked the edges of yours!

What a terrific card. I, too, love the touch that inking the edges has on the flowers. I love the colors too. It all works so well together!

Hope your headache went away...don't want you getting sick again.

Hugs! Thanks for all your beautiful work!
