Put Your Sunglasses On ...

... Because my second card is a bright one. My first card is a repeat of the Mojo Monday sketch turned on its side. I can't see a thing that warrants explaining. The corner punch that created the little notches isn't new but one I came across at the bottom of the heap in the back of a drawer when I was looking for something else.

Materials & Tools: Colonial White, Cranberry, and Olive cardstock; Memory Box Homespun 6x6-inch cardstock; Olive, Garden Green, Chocolate, and Cranberry ink pads; Honey marker; Lizzie Ann Designs In the Treetop and Impression Obsession Anytime Sentiments stamp sets; Colonial White mini brads; Carl corner punch; Stampin' Up Word Window punch.

This second card is my contribution to Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge #56. It's a bright one! I colored the stamped image with Prismacolor pencils, using odorless mineral spirits and a paper stump for blending. I curved my sentiment stamps to line up with the edges of the oval. The exclamation mark was added with a marker when I didn't get the bottom stamped centered just right. Sigh ...

Materials & Tools: White Daisy, Black, and Citrus Leaf cardstock; Black and Citrus Leaf ink pads; Penny Black Toadily, Impression Obsession Anytime Sentiments, and Papertrey Ink Polka Dot Basics stamp sets; Ribbon from Wal-Mart; Cuttlebug w/Nestabilities Classic Ovals set; Prismacolor pencils; Gamsol odorless mineral spirits; Blending stumps; 3M foam mounting tape.

I'm getting off to a slow start today after staying up way too late last night, which, when I posted, was something I didn't think I was going to do. Cameron and the boys are coming over this afternoon, so it would probably be wise to save the bulk of my housework until after they've left this evening. Sweet as those little fellas are, they're not neat!

I hope you have a wonderful day, and as always, thanks for stopping by. Your visits and kind comments are a great source of inspiration. Take care!
