Simple Saturday on Sunday

So I'm a day late. What else is new? Actually, I forgot all about Simple Saturday until I saw these great cards on Ellen Hutson's the CLASSroom blog this morning. What you can't see is that the butterflies are dimensional, and I used textured white cardstock.

Materials & Tools: White Daisy and Vineyard Berry cardstock; White Daisy Textured cardstock; Basic Grey Bittersweet 6x6-inch paper pad; Sparkles; Martha Steward Butterfly punch; Cuttlebug w/Swiss Dots embossing folder.

Speaking of late, we didn't get home early last night. We did have fun. Mid-party, we left Marv's mom playing cards with a bunch of her cronies and slipped away to the hunting cabin (about a mile away) with Marv's brother and sister-in-law to play a couple of games of Cribbage. Joyce (my SIL) mixed up some Colorado Bulldogs which would have been fine had she not used quart-sized (only a slight exaggeration) mugs. By the time we returned to the party, I was in the silliest of moods, the likes of which these relatives had never seen. I believe they had previously deemed me quite stuffy. Oh, well. LOL. That's all for now. I need to go get ready this evening's stamp club gathering. I hope yours is a wonderful day. Thanks for stopping by!

Oooohhhh very pretty! There you go, rocking the BG paper again! I'd go make a version of this were my attention span not spent from the card I created today. LOL

Cribbage! I haven't played that in a long time! My mom and I used to play after dinner, before clearing off the table. My dad and I used to when he visited...before his eyesight got bad. Great memories. I'd love to see a tipsy Kathi! Sounds like you all had fun.
