I am ...

... tickled pink about Close To My Heart's "Tickled Pink" promotion for National Scrapbooking Month. Check out the details here. The paper is gorgeous, the die cuts and other accessories fun, and the stamp set? It will be a favorite for years to come.

About my card, I was going to apologize for its simplicity but changed my mind. I love it, and I love the idea that something so pretty can be created so effortlessly.

Materials & Tools: White Daisy and Black cardstock; Doodlebug Design Black Eyelet paper; Blush and Black ink pads; I Am (from the Tickled Pink Collection) and Gracious Greetings stamp sets; 1/2-inch circle punch.

How was your day? Mine was great. It was a good week. As for the next three days, I'm thrilled by the prospect of being able to move at my own pace. Tonight, I'm going to go clean up my corner. I didn't get it done the other night, and it's quite the sight. Considering all that I have to step over to get into my chair, it might even be considered dangerous at this point. It's a good thing I'm a spry old bird. LOL. With that, I better go get something done. Thanks for stopping by. It's YOU who makes blogging fun! Later ...

I love your card Kathi! If you had apologized for it, I would have said, "What is that woman thinking?" I am glad that you came to your senses and realized that it is a masterpiece! *Ü*

WOW you have make a stunningly beautiful and simple card. I think the stamp set in this pack is SO GOOD. My fav is the ...I am...So Happy...sentiment, When I stamp this I feel it! Silly I know but oh well.
Thanks Kathi!

I don't think you should EVER apologize for simple cards. I for one think they are WAY more difficult to create. It's easy to pile on the goodies, but harder to leave them off.

This card is gorgeous and you should be proud!

Have a wonderful weekend. It's um....snowing...here...a lot...sigh...

This is beautiful! I was not too interested in the Tickled Pink Promo...that is until now. I love this color combo. Very pretty, indeed. And I, for one, love the classy look of 'simplicity'.
