Simple Saturday ... Not!

Here's my take on Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge #67. While it doesn't qualify as simple by my standards, my card wasn't difficult either. All of the stamped elements cut out, it was just a little time-consuming. To add a little dimension, I "curled" the flower petals with my thumbnail (my favorite "technique" LOL) and attached the bottom flower and center of the top flower with Pop Dots. The sentiment will have to go on the inside.

Materials & Tools: Vanilla Cream and Smokey Plum cardstock; Bella paper packet; Creme Brule, Petal, Olive, Chocolate, and Bamboo Ink pads; Endless Friendship stamp set; ribbon from Wal-Mart; Kaiser Kraft pearl accents; EK Success corner rounder; Pop Dots.

I think the best word to describe me today is "sluggish." The only thing moving fast is the clock. Marv left a few minutes ago to go fishing. It's opening day in Minnesota. I love to fish, but not when it's 40 degrees. Brr... While it's quiet, I'm going to take a nap. Whatever you're doing, I hope you're enjoying the weekend. Later...
