Sherrod Studio DT Sketch Challenge

I'm hoping the old adage, "Better late than never," will apply to this post. I'm late due to the fact that a wedding has taken over my life. LOL.

OK. Here's what is going on. This month, Kim from Sherrod Studio challenged her design team to a sketch challenge. For my card, I chose my favorite Friendship Blossoms set and used a bright and cheerful color palette - perfect for a card for a friend.

Materials & Tools: White Daisy cardstock; DCWV Indian Summer Fall Matstack; Black and Holiday Red ink pads; Sherrod Studio Friendship Blossoms stamp set; White Bigger Brads; Stampin' Up Whisper White taffeta ribbon; Sunshiny Yellow Fun Flock; 1/2-inch circle punch; Fiskars Apron Lace punch.

Now for the fun stuff! Go check out what the other members of the Design Team have come up with: Kim,
Ceal ,Dawn, Joseline, Kelly, Leah, Mary, and Sparkle.

And... there's more to come! On the 17th, the Design Team will start posting its sneak peeks for the upcoming release from Sherrod Studio. Our samples will put you in a festive mood and get you thinking about the very best time of the year!

Great card. Love the colors and that flower is so cool. Good luck keeping it all together in this coming week. Don't wear yourself so much that you can't enjoy the fun.

Wow! Nice card. At first I thought the flowers were DS paper. Then I remember this was the Friendship Blossom set. Great card Kathi.

Kathi, it's fabulous!!!! I love the bright colors. I have always been drawn to more muted tones, so when I start using the bright ones, I can't pull myself away from them!

I agree with Leslie's advise.....take time to enjoy the festivities. That's what you want to remember when it's all said and done. I can't wait to see a photo of you in your fancy outfit!
