It’s Not All Black and White

When I sat down at my stamp desk tonight, this stamp caught my eye. I just love it plain and simple. The card? It’ll be a good one to send to one of my big boys for no reason Love Ewe_Feb 2010more than I want to tell him I love ‘im. I do that once in a while, and while they contain their excitement, I can tell they kinda like it.

Anyone remember this patterned paper? It’s an old CTMH pattern from back in the days when it offered Background and Texture papers to match each of its cardstock colors. While I sold most of my full sheets after these papers were retired, I have a huge bag of scraps that is kind of fun to dig into once in a while.

Materials & Tools: White Daisy and Cranberry cardstock; Retired Black B&T paper; Black and Cranberry ink pads; Unity Stamps Love Ewe and Hero Arts Anytime Messages stamp sets; Cranberry grosgrain ribbon; Prismacolor colored pencils; Gamsol odorless mineral spirits; Blending stump; 3M foam mounting tape.

I had a great day today with the exception of a little bout with nausea that sent me home around midday. What that was about, I dunno. Pregnancy has been ruled out. LOL. It might have been the bottle of orange juice I drank this morning. That’s what I get for SSDBlogHopInvite-HopeforHai2trying to do something healthy.

How was your day? Before I sign off I need to remind you to stop back for tomorrow’s  Hop(e) for Haiti blog hop. My cards are ready, and I’m so excited about doing something for such a good cause. With that, enjoy the evening and hope to see you again tomorrow! Later…
