Here’s a very simple, no frills card I pretty much made with stuff that was out on my desk. I colored my image with markers.
Materials & Tools: White Daisy and Black cardstock; Black ink pad; Bubblegum and Topiary markers; Hero Arts Special Moments Cling and CTMH Say it in Style stamp sets; Ribbon from Wal-Mart; Cuttlebug w/Swiss Dots embossing folder.

This is so pretty Kathi. I love the black matting and that swiss dots folder is my favorite.
BTW, the folder I used on my card that was inspired from you came from Oh my Crafts. They have a few on there that are exclusive to them. I can't remember the name right now though of the specific folder.
