A half hour or so ago I didn’t feel like stamping tonight and then … I saw the sketch for Mojo Monday 151 and thought of this stamp set. A color combination came to mind as did a pad of Basic Grey paper. Voila! I had a card. Oops! Excuse the little pencil mark at the bottom. I marked it to center my ribbon. I’ll erase it.

A Slice of Life: I had a great day. Work was busy and productive. I stopped at Mom’s on my way home. She’s making new friends and enjoying life. There have been several occasions in the past few days when I haven’t been able to get a hold of her when I’ve call, because she has been out and about – a good thing. To have a life of her own after nearly 57 years of centering her life around her children is something she deserves. I love seeing her so happy.
We had a break from the heat today. Many welcomed the rain. I might have appreciated it, too, had I not gotten drenched walking to my car after work. LOL. I was on my way to bed when the stamping bug bit. It’s time.
I hope yours was a wonderful day, too. Here’s to a Happy Hump Day as well. I’ll most likely “see” you again then. Take care, friends.
