Before I talk about my card, I want you to take a look at this card on Lisa's Creative Corner. Isn't it beautiful? Well, I tried but didn't get results so lovely, and my attempt is resting comfortably in the trash can with my stab at faux suede from the night before. Until I get my missing mojo back, I'm just going to link you to what I'd like to do, and otherwise, play it safe.
Besides, you all know I like simple anyway. Simple, to me, is classic, which is what I thought when I saw this card on Gina K.'s A Day in the Life blog. I was even more impressed with her commentary and the things she's grateful for - the simple things. To make my card, I changed the colors and used a simple little flower stamp from the much-used, much-loved Treasure Life set. I'm grateful, too - for the simple things and even the not-so-simple things that teach me the lessons of life.
Materials & Tools: Colonial White, Goldrush, and Chocolate cardstock; Chocolate Ink pad; Goldrush, Brown Bag, and Garden Green markers; Treasure Life September SOTM; Chocolate grosgrain ribbon; Small pewter spiral clips; Cuttlebug w/Argyle embossing folder and Rectangular Nestabilities; 3M foam mounting tape.
If my scheduled post works, I'll be bowling when this appears tomorrow evening. I'm doing the scheduled thing, because Bjorn and Mathias will be here when I get home, and thus, there will be stories to read, prayers to be said, and, if we're not so lucky, a little bedtime battle. Regardless, I wanted to get this done in case I run out of time, energy, or both. I'll be "live" again Thursday evening, and who knows? By then, I just might have my mojo back. 'Til then, you have a good one!

I love your card! I'm going to try the other card too!
I am going to have to start using Autumn Terracotta. Your card is great. Can hardly wait for my CTMH order to come so I can play with the SOTM.
Great job on this card. I love the background.
You are SO making me feel like I NEED that stamp set! Oh and so far no luck on finding that cuttlebug folder (phooey). Lisa's card is gorgeous as well. Between the two of you my husband is going to get so mad at me! I have a couple of more weeks to sneak it in, right?
Hope you had fun bowling!!
sure it might be simple but it's stunning!!
I love simple too, probably because I am. What a beautiful card!!!!
