A Fun Sketch

I came across this new-to-me card sketch on another blog, tried it and thought I'd share it. For my cards, I used the Enchanted and Life's Delights paper packets from the Fall/Winter catalog. I did use Pansy Purple for the card base for the enchanted card, preferring it to the Smokey Plum that comes with the paper packet. The dimensions for the Life's Delights paper pieces are 4-1/8 by 2-1/2 for the green piece and 1-1/2 by 3-1/2 for the striped pieces. I believe the piece the sentiment is stamped on is 1-3/4 inches square. I like the over and under thing going on with the striped pieces. It adds interest.

With this post, I'm calling it a night. I have a busy workweek ahead of me and my stamp club to prepare for next weekend. I also need to work out the details (advertising, etc.) for the "Over Indulgence" sale that I'm going to have on the Saturday following Thanksgiving. On top of that, the little boys will be spending at least two nights with us this week while their father attends his night class. I can hardly wait, as I haven't seen them for a week. Grandpa's anxious, too, and invited their dad to bring them over for dinner tomorrow night. Either he's cooking, or we're going out . . .
