More Snowflakes

After the garish pink/burgundy snowflake card, I'm surprised that I tried again . . . This color combo is a little out of the box, too, but I'm much happier with the results. This is Garden Green and Bamboo. I filled the Colonial White background piece with first and second generation images, and chose the medium size snowflake in Garden Green for my focal point image. The scalloped circles are 1-1/2 and 2-1/2 inches, cut with my Cricut. The green piece is 1-3/4 inches, cut with a Coluzzle template. I wish the Cricut cut in 1/4-inch increments past 1-1/2 inches. The tiny tag is a chipboard piece from the Dimensional Elements Ribbon Accents. I covered with with Bamboo cardstock and tied it to the ribbon with a piece of Waxy Flax. The ribbon is 3/8-inch natural twill from the White Daisy Ribbon Rounds collection. If I make this card again, I'll probably try the wider 5/8-inch twill ribbon. Green ribbon might be a good thing, too.

I'm off to a slow start today, as the cold I mentioned a couple of days ago appears to be taking hold. My throat is a bit sore, and my head feels "full." I have an irritating intermittent cough. So long as it doesn't get any worse, I can live with it. I clearly do not have time, either at work or at home, to be sick. Regardless of how I feel right now, I need to go tackle a pile of "inherited" laundry. It's a large lot. Evidently, my adult son still has the wear-it-once habits he had in high school. If my preaching didn't work then, I don't suppose it would carry much weight now. Sigh.
As for stamping, later (I hope)!
