Thanks

I was in the mood to make something different tonight and turned to my new book, Papercraft's The Ultimate Paper Crafts Collection, for inspiration.

My Triple Daisy card is made with a flower from CTMH's Love In Bloom set. I stamped the flower three times on a piece of White Daisy cardstock with VersaMark and then embossed with clear embossing powder. I then sponged over the flowers with Sunflower and Barn Red inks. I stamped the sentiment (from For Every Occasion) with Pansy Purple ink. The striped piece is a scrap from the Enchanted paper packet. The cardstock colors are Garden Green and Smoked Plum. A knotted bow of Mellow Moss ribbon from Stampin' Up completes the card.

By the way, I had a good day today just like I said I would have. I had excellent news via email when I got to work. I scored a major coup that was important but something I didn't think was going to happen. I wanted to hug someone, but of course, that would have been inappropriate in the stuffy corporate atmosphere. Instead, I shared my news with a couple of people and spent the rest of the day hugging myself! I took a much needed nap when I got home from work, and now, Grandpa Claus and I are on our way to Walmart to see what we can find. While Walmart is not my favorite store in the world, I'm glad it keeps the same weird hours as I do . . . Have a good weekend, and thanks for stopping by!
