While it's not an "oops" by any means, my attempt to emulate "serene" via a card doesn't cut it. I don't know why. It might be that I was trying too hard . . . thinking too much. I might have come up with a better card had I turned the darned politics off and the CD player on. Better yet, I should have channel surfed until I came up with an I Love Lucy rerun. I like to laugh. It's good for me, good for everyone. Back to the card, this was my first attempt at an ivory rose. To create it, I used Colonial White and Vanilla Cream inks. It's prettier in person. You've heard that before. While a picture might speak 1,000 words, it doesn't always do the subject justice.
For now, I'm off to bed. I slept like a baby last night and intend to do the same tonight. Tomorrow's Friday, too. Yippee! I will need a couple days off after I complete tomorrow's writing project. It's a mind-boggling assignment that will require sheer genius to pull off. Funny thing is, I know I'll get it done, and when I do, I'll wonder what all the fretting was about. Later!
