Looking for Sympathy
As I made mention of the weather yesterday, I thought I'd offer it a little update. It is currently minus 16 degrees. Due to winds from the northwest at 19 to 24 mph, the temperature, with windchill, is minus 55. Have I been outside today? No way. However, what anyone who does not live in a hyperborean area might find amazing is the fact that I have the window in the room I'm sitting in open about eight inches. The necessity for this results from living on the third floor of a building occupied mostly by senior citizens. The lady that lives below us keeps her thermostat set on 85 degrees and most likely has a sweater or two on. Hot air rises, and were it not for my open window, I would suffocate. To cars passing by, I'm sure the open window appears a bit odd. I don't care.

Brrrrrr....but I totally understand why you would need to crack a window to get fresh, albiet cold, air circulating. Makes perfect sense to me. :o)
Hope you warm up soon!
