If I Deleted Your Comment . . .
in error, I apologize. When I posted a minute or so ago, a comment showed up simultaneously. It did not contain any kind of statement regarding my post but rather listed a "new blog" and a request to please link. The name of the person posting was unfamiliar, and thus, I opted to delete it. I have had this happen one other time and deleted that comment as well. While I am unfamiliar with any dangers surrounding such comments or links, and I'm not what I'd consider a "Nervous Nellie," I don't feel like taking any chances either.

Thanks and Have a Great Week!
I know I've said this before, but to those who leave comments or take the time to email me with a little feedback, thank you. As I do quite a bit of blog surfing myself, I know that it takes time. To any cyber stalkers (my son's term, not mine) who visit regularly, I'm glad you come by and hope that every now and again you find something that inspires you. My husband, who claims he doesn't like the sound of my keyboard but is actually jealous of my typing proficiency asked today, "Why do you do this?" I replied, "I dunno. I just do." I didn't add, "Get over it," like I was thinking or ask him when he's going to give up his love affair with his remote control. I was nice all day! I stamped like I was participating in a marathon this weekend. Tonight, however, when I sat down to make one more card, I found I was creatively drained. It happens every once in a while but never lasts long.
That's enough jabber. As much as I dislike going to bed on Sunday nights, common sense is going to reign tonight. I just wanted to say thank you and tell you I hope your week is wonderful. I'll catch you later!

Bear with Me . . .
First of all, you're in the right place! Secondly, bear with me. What you're seeing is not permanent but rather the result of temporary insanity. I'll explain later. In the meanwhile, remodeling my blog is not on my "to do" list either, and tonight, I'm a woman on a mission.

#350
Three hundred and fifty posts in less than six months may be a little excessive. We'll see what happens when spring comes. I tend to venture away from my nest a bit more often. Maybe I'll slow it down. For the time being, with so many thoughts and words that fly out of my head onto my cyber paper so easily, it's not a big deal for me right now.
I didn't stop back to discuss my blogging habits, however. I just happened to notice the number. What I'm here for is to tell you is that if you're interested in what's new or going to be new in the crafting industry to stop by the Splitcoast Stampers CHA blog. CHA is an acronym for Craft & Hobby Association, and currently it is having its Annual Convention and Trade Show in Anaheim. Following my bath and on my way to bed, I scanned through a bit of the blog and saw some interesting, fun, and even intriguing "stuff." I wish sleep wasn't necessary. More than that, I wish I was in Anaheim. It's warm there . . .

Basket Dimensions for Pammie the Brave
Why didn't I think to post the dimensions of my finished basket in my original post? Pammie, who's brave enough to consider it for a workshop project, asked when leaving a very nice comment. The basket, minus the handles, is three inches tall and 4-3/4 inches in diameter. While I'm at it, I might mention, too, that Laura used a glue stick in her pictorial. I started by using a glue stick, but when things started coming apart, I resorted to Glue Dots, which stayed stuck. When I say Pammie is brave, I mean it. This is a challenging project that I personally would not want to present to more than a couple of people at a time. I'm also not the best teacher in the world, which might make the difference. Pammie might just be more patient than Kathi . . .
Enabler's Alert
If you haven't been following Nicole Heady's Capture the Moment blog for the past 10 days or so, go take a peak at what's going on at Papertrey Ink. If you go all the way back to the first of the month when her announcements began, you will have reading material for a good part of the day. Personally, I find it all very exciting. First, I deem it very cool that a company that is only a year old has obviously been successful enough to expand the way hers is. Secondly, I'm thrilled about all of the new products - stuff I know I'm going to love - that will be available soon. With that I'm going to go check the want ads to see if I can't find a second job to support my habit. Sigh . . .

Looking for Sympathy
As I made mention of the weather yesterday, I thought I'd offer it a little update. It is currently minus 16 degrees. Due to winds from the northwest at 19 to 24 mph, the temperature, with windchill, is minus 55. Have I been outside today? No way. However, what anyone who does not live in a hyperborean area might find amazing is the fact that I have the window in the room I'm sitting in open about eight inches. The necessity for this results from living on the third floor of a building occupied mostly by senior citizens. The lady that lives below us keeps her thermostat set on 85 degrees and most likely has a sweater or two on. Hot air rises, and were it not for my open window, I would suffocate. To cars passing by, I'm sure the open window appears a bit odd. I don't care.

My "List" is Up!
My list of "Blogs That Inspire" is now posted in the left hand column. Some of these folks are Close To My Heart consultants. Some are Stampin' Up consultants. Some are involved with businesses of their own, and others (including some of us CTMH and SU consultants) appreciate products from a variety of sources. All love stamping.
I tried to keep my list to those I know update relatively frequently, which, from what I understand, is a good blogging practice. If you follow a blog long enough, you come to understand the blogger's habits. If they post every day and are suddenly missing in action without saying anything prior to their absence, you tend to kind of worry about them, which is weird but nice, too, in that without meeting people, you can come to admire and care about them. My youngest son thinks blogging is creepy and calls us "Cyper Stalkers." I'm making an effort to leave a comment when I see something I like - less stalking, more talking.
In addition to the expansion of my Blogs that Inspire list, there are other improvements I want to make to my blog, too. I need to rethink my Labels list and expand on my Favorite Websites list (aka Enablers list). While I find the plain and simple background to be representative of my style, I could use a header with a little more pizazz. All that is not going to be tonight, however. I'm going to go visit Allison at Stamping When I Can, do a little straightening up, and go to bed. Enjoy the list!
