The Miracle is Now

Now that I've composed myself again, I suppose that my pensive, thoughtful mood is to be expected. The last three days have been pretty nice. Easter was wonderful, and the past two days at work have been great. It's all good because of my attitude. A little curve in the road made me appreciate the ordinary again.

My card isn't anything spectacular, but it's cheerul and carries a simple, albeit meaningful, message.

Materials & Tools: White Daisy and Garden Green cardstock; Let's Get Together paper packet; Cranberry and Garden Green ink pads; Delight in Everything and Papertrey Ink Mixed Blessings stamp sets; Garden Green Designer Ribbon Rounds; Corner rounder; Tag punch.

I have an inspiration calendar on my desk and just noticed that today's quote is a favorite that complements my card. French novelist and essayist Marcel Proust wrote, "Do not wait for life. Do not long for it. Be aware, always and at every moment, that the miracle is in the here and now." While flying through life by the seat of one's life with no plan doesn't work out very well, we can spend so much time worrying about the "plan" that we miss and fail to appreciate the little moments that make our days special.

With those thoughts, I'll close for tonight and before hitting my pillow, go find the magazine that has the idea for tomorrow night's project. My family is hosting a baby shower for my nephew's wife and unborn baby girl on Saturday, so I've got a couple of projects in mind. If you're so inclined, stop back and check it out. In the interim, have a wonderful Wednesday!

I like the card. It is good to get us thinking of spring. I just used this paper set recently for some photos. It's still a great one. Treena

I love this paper set, that stamp set ... and the sentiment. (That set from Papertrey is on "my list to get".) You and Lisa use it ALL THE TIME ... so now I really think I need it.
