As nice as it was to get back into a normal routine this week, I didn't feel one bit bad about the fact that today is Friday.
My card is a simple design and would be appropriate for a number of occasions. With no sentiment on the outside, I guess I'll get to decide when the time comes! The inspiration came from a number of designs I've seen out in the blogosphere lately. I like the use of embossed paper in place of a second pattern.
Materials & Tools: Colonial White and Vineyard Berry cardstock; K&Company Amy Butler Designer Mat Pad; Stampin' Up Oh, So Lovely stamp set; Cuttlebug w/Textiles embossing folder; Antiqued copper brads; Stampin' Up Very Vanilla taffeta ribbon; 3M foam mounting tape.
I'm off to grab a bite to eat and then attend a performance of "One Voice," an Easter musical in which our oldest son is an a character. With a long "to do" list this evening, I wasn't going to go until the final performance on Sunday afternoon. However, when I told him, he seemed a little disappointed. I guess we can't disappoint the children . . . regardless of how old they are! Have a nice evening. With a little luck, I'll catch you later. Beate's Weekend Sketch looks like one I can handle!
