Weekend Challenge Card

I seem to be falling into a bit of a pattern, using the same paper and stamp set for Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge each week. I couldn't help it this week. When I saw the sketch, I immediately visualized this card, and putting it together was fun - the way it's supposed to be!

Materials & Tools: Colonial White, Desert Sand, and Black cardstock; Black, Bamboo, and Desert Sand ink pads; Silhouette paper packet; Make It Count and Joy Forever stamp sets; Ribbon from reasonableribbon.com; Chocolate Mini Medley Accents; Circle Window Charm; Sanding block.

As for the continuing saga that is my life, Marv finally heard from the doctor this afternoon. Whoever was supposed to have read the test that was done yesterday didn't get around to it and then didn't work today. That's not so great, but what can you do? Between now and the time someone gets around to reading the test, Marv is on a regimen of medication, nitro (if he needs it) and baby aspirin. The doctor did say that a visit to a cardiologist is in our near future, too. As I thought he would, Marv kept the little boys all day today, which lifted his spirits immensely. I'm hoping for a quiet, pleasant weekend even though we still don't know as much as we'd like to know. As I'm up for a little stamp therapy, I'm sure I'll be popping in now and again to show you what I've been up to. Between now and then, enjoy your weekend!

Well, gosh! Don't they know how hard it is to have to wait this long?? I'm sorry to hear you still haven't been given a full report. But again, I'm keeping you in my thoughts.

Great card, even if you used the same papers. You make it look fresh and original! Great sentiment as well.
