My card is a simple one with another paper-pieced bird and the rest of the design colored with markers.
Materials & Tools: Colonial White and Sweet Leaf cardstock; Memory Box 6x6 Homespun Collection; Black ink pad; Topiary, Buttercup, and Pink Carnation markers; Hero Arts Bird, Tree & Messages stamp set; Acrylic discs from Michael's; 3M foam mounting tape.
My day started early, which was OK, because there is no better time with children than first thing in the morning. Bjorn and Mathias woke up with "art projects" on their minds, so we spent a couple of hours drawing with markers and cutting pictures out of catalogs. It was fun. As for the rest of the day, I can see by looking around that I've got more to do than is possible in a day's time, so I guess I'll start at the top of the "gotta do" priority list and see if I can't chip my way down. I'm sure I'll be sneaking into my corner once in a while, too, for a little rest, relaxation, and creativity! Have a good day! Later . . .

Lovely card! I'm really liking the bird in this set and I'm glad you are giving me such wonderful inspiration so when I ink it up, I don't have to struggle with what to create!
I really liked that sentiment as well and like you am blessed with some very good friends-and I consider you one of those very good friends!!
Yikes, I think I should have proof-read my comment a little more carefully before posting. Oh well, I think you know what I am trying to say! LOL
