Another Vintage Christmas Card

Those familiar with my stamping style may be somewhat surprised that I have such a hankering for this set. Considering the fact that I'm not usually all that big on distressing and the vintage look, it kind of surprises me as well. There's just something about it . . . Speaking of favorites, I've been using a lot of New England Ivy this season, and the more I use it, the more I like it. It was one of the first colors I purchased from CTMH . . . 11 (or maybe 12) years ago already!

Materials & Tools: Colonial White, New England Ivy, Barn Red, and Desert Sand cardstock; Basic Grey Wassail 6x6-inch paper pad; New England Ivy, Desert Sand, Bamboo, and Vineyard Berry ink pads; Vintage Christmas stamp set; New England Ivy Designer Ribbon Rounds (retired); Antiqued Copper mini brads; Circle Window Charms; Stampin' Up Photo Corner punch; Sanding block.

I didn't make it back to my corner yesterday, and I didn't get a darned thing done elsewhere. With a headache I couldn't seem to shake, I spent the day laying around, sleeping intermittently between dosages of aspirin. Tonight, we need to get our decorating done and put the totes back in storage before one of us takes a tumble in our maze. Besides, I need to get everything arranged so Bjorn and Mathias can rearrange it when they spend the night Wednesday. LOL. That said, I'd better get my clothes changed and get to work. I hope your having a great day. Thanks for stopping. I'll talk to you again soon!

Though not a huge fan of the vintage look myself, you've done an outstanding job of showcasing it beautifully in this card! I can see why you like it!

Good luck finishing your decorating and getting all the boxes put away! It took me over a week to get my boxes put away! Of course, it didn't help that I started to re-arrange our storage space in the process LOL!
