Simple Saturday

Is there any other way at this time of the year? With the exception of a couple of hours that we spent at a birthday party this afternoon, I've been going to beat 60 all day long. Sadly, when I look around, it looks like I've been spinning my wheels. Ah, the old adage - "The hurrier I go, the behinder I get." LOL.

About my card, don't look too close. It's not like those snowflakes are all perfectly centered or anything. On a positive note, I love the look of white pigment ink on Kraft cardstock.

Materials & Tools: White Daisy, Cranberry, and Stampin' Up Kraft cardstock; White Daisy pigment ink; Cranberry ink pad; Alpha "E", Impression Obsession Holly Days, and Clear Dollar Stamps You're So Sweet stamp sets; Ribbon from Walmart; 1 and 1-1/4 inch circle punches.

Our Christmas tree is up with the lights on it. When I mentioned that I wanted to get it done this weekend, Marv took that as "now" and went and got the decorations out of the storeroom. I wanted to get the cleaning done first, so I've been trying to work around 10 huge totes and a pile of boxes. If I break my neck, it will be his fault. No, I'd best get back at it. I've got towels and rugs in the dryers that need to be set free. Enjoy your evening! Later . . .

Wow! Terrific card, Kathi! Love the red, white and kraft combo. The snowflakes look great to me.

I'm sure your home will soon look as festive as your card. I must be the only one who waits till closer to Christmas to put up our tree, most likely next weekend.

Jess has been up all night with an upset tummy, and therefore, so has mommy. :( Can't keep anything down, but is otherwise feeling okay. Poor baby. Not sure how much creating I will get done today.
