Beat the Clock

Grown with Love_Apr 2010

Hey! Wonder of wonders. This is my second post of the evening. Scroll down to check out my Simple Saturday offering.

This is CPS Sketch Challenge 161, which I just came across this evening. When I saw the deadline to get one’s card posted was 8 pm, it became a double challenge to see if I could beat the clock, too. Silly. It’s not like I hadn’t pushed myself already today. Fun, though.

Materials & Tools: Colonial White and Chocolate cardstock; Twitterpated paper packet; Bamboo, Chocolate, and Sweet Leaf ink pads; Close To My Heart Grown with Love and State of Mind stamp sets; Hero Arts Thinking of You stamp set; CTMH Organic Dimensional Elements; Ecru crochet cotton; Sponge dauber.

I am now on my way to the sofa where I will most likely pass out. LOL. Later…

I am impressed - when I'm pushed, rushing - trying to meet a deadline (at least when I'm stamping or being really creative) I just freeze. I'm very impressed with your card - it's awesome! I will case this one, if that's ok with you!! HUGS!

Wow! What a great card, Kathi! And even more impressive that you beat the clock! Like Sharli, had I attempted it, I would have either frozen up or experienced all kinds of issues having to do with supplies not working out. LOL

Love the tree and the buttons!

Sure hope you slept well after your busy, busy day!

Aw, that's so cute! One of my favorite stamp sets. Hey, at least you finished yours and posted it. I made one for this challenge and forgot to post it! Good grief.

Super cute Kathi. Love the tree. Great job on the sketch. I hope that that all the cleaning you did hasn't worn you out too much.
